Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies Lineage uses, and how to control them.

Version 1.0 Effective 2026-04-29

Cookies are small files placed in your browser by websites you visit. We use a small number of them — only what we need for the Platform to work and to remember your preferences. This policy lists each one and tells you how to turn off the optional ones.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be turned off.

Cookie Purpose Duration
lineage_session Authenticated session token. Without this, you cannot stay signed in. 7 days
lineage_csrf Cross-site request forgery protection on state-changing requests. Session
consent:cookies:v1 Stores your cookie-banner choices so we don't ask again. 12 months

Preference cookies

These remember things like your language, currency, and dashboard layout. You can turn them off; the Platform will still work, but you will see defaults instead of your saved choices.

Analytics cookies

We currently ship without any third-party analytics cookies. If we add an analytics provider in the future, it will only load after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. The provider's name will be added to this table on the day it goes live, with at least 14 days' prior notice.

Marketing cookies

We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, the same opt-in rule applies — no marketing cookie loads without your explicit consent.

How to control cookies

  • In the Platform: click "Cookie settings" in the footer to change your category preferences at any time.
  • In your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave all let you block or delete cookies per site. See your browser's help pages for instructions.
  • Global Privacy Control: we treat the GPC header as an opt-out for analytics and marketing categories where applicable.

Changes

We update this policy when our cookies change. The version + effective date in the header tell you which iteration you are reading. Material changes are notified via email and an in-app notice.
